Humber College Boulevard construction: Brampton Transit, MiWay, TTC detours, July 16 to 19



Starting 9 p.m. Friday, July 16, the City of Toronto is closing

  • Humber College Boulevard between Arboretum Lane and Highway 27

to accommodate contractors who are repaving the roadway.

Brampton Transit is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:

  • 11 Steeles; and
  • 50 Gore Road.

MiWay is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 22 Finch.

The TTC is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:

  • 96 Wilson;
  • 336 Finch West overnight; and
  • 927 Highway 27 express.

Construction on Humber College Boulevard and the resulting BT, MiWay and TTC detours continue until July 19 (5 a.m.)

Southbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 9 p.m. Friday, July 16 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 19, northbound buses start their trips in Humber College Terminal, as usually, then proceed:

northward along Silver Bell Lane;
west- and northward along Humber College Boulevard; and then
eastward along Finch Avenue West to Woodbine Downs Boulevard,
resuming their regular route northward along Woodbine Downs.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Humber College Boulevard across from Westmore Drive and at Lynmount Road and John Garland Boulevard,
  • on John Garland Boulevard at Finch Avenue West and
  • on Finch Avenue West east of Damascus Drive and at Highway 27 and Woodbine Downs Boulevard.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 9 p.m. Friday, July 16 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 19, westbound buses start their trips in Humber College Terminal, as usually, then proceed:

northward along Silver Bell Lane;
west- and northward along Humber College Boulevard to Finch Avenue West,
resuming their regular route westward along Finch West.

Westbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Finch Avenue West at Woodbine Downs Boulevard.

southward along Highway 27 to Humber College Boulevard,
resuming their regular route eastward along Humber College.

Eastbound buses drop off and pick up passengers at all regular stops.

Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.

  • on Humber College Boulevard beyond Highway 27.
927 Highway 27 express

From 9 p.m. Friday, July 16 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 19, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Humber College Terminal, then detour:

northward along Silver Bell Lane;
west- and northward along Humber College Boulevard;
eastward along Finch Avenue West; and then
southward along Highway 27 to Humber College Boulevard,
resuming their regular route southward along Highway 27.

Southbound buses drop off and pick up passengers at all regular stops.

Southbound buses also serve passengers at temporary stops

  • on Humber College Boulevard across from Humberline Drive and
  • on Finch Avenue West beyond Humber College Boulevard and at Halesia Drive.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Humber College Boulevard beyond Highway 27.

Northbound buses also serve passengers at temporary stops

  • on Finch Avenue West beyond Highway 27 and at Woodbine Downs Boulevard and
  • on Humber College Boulevard beyond Finch Avenue West and Humberline Drive.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Finch Avenue West beyond Highway 27 and at Woodbine Downs Boulevard and
  • on Humber College Boulevard beyond Finch Avenue West and Humberline Drive.
