July 1, 1954

Service begins on a new route providing service on Pharmacy Avenue in southwestern Scarborough, replacing a service operated by Danforth Bus Lines. Buses operate from Luttrell loop at the eastern end of the BLOOR STREETCAR via east on Danforth Avenue, north on Pharmacy, east on Eglinton and north on Kennedy to Lawrence, looping through the Esso service station on the northwest corner. Buses return via the reverse route.

In addition to this, there are two rush hour branches. One is a short turn service is operated from Luttrell to the corner of Eglinton and Birchmount, turning around in the parking lot of the SKF plant on the southwest corner. The other, operating every hour, runs from Luttrell over the regular route to Eglinton and Kennedy and then running east on Eglinton to Kingston Road, looping southwest on Kingston Road and north on Markham Road to Eglinton, returning via the reverse route.

Buses initially operate out of Woodbine garage, which was originally owned by Hollinger Bus lines.

October 24, 1955

Service is extended on Kennedy from Lawrence to Forbes, two blocks north of Lawrence. Buses loop counterclockwise in the triangle formed by Forbes and Ellendale, just west of Kennedy.

Service assigned route number 67.

On this date, service on Kennedy Road north of Eglinton is provided by the newly established 43 KENNEDY route. The main branch is extended east on Eglinton from Kennedy and loops via south on Brimley and northeast on Danforth Road, returning via Eglinton, Pharmacy and Danforth to Luttrell loop. Rush hour service to Kingston Road continues, as does the short turn service to Eglinton and Birchmount.

With the closure of Woodbine garage, operations are transferred to the newly opened Birchmount garage.

May 24, 1957

The "Birchmount" short turn no longer loops through the parking lot of the SKF plant, looping stead via south on Sinnott, west on Civic and north on Warden.

August 27, 1957

Coincident with the extension of Eglinton Avenue across the Don Valley and the inauguration of the new 34 EGLINTON EAST bus route, service on Eglinton to Birchmount and Danforth Road is discontinued (rush hour service to Eglinton and Kingston Road remains). During off-peak hours, buses on the main branch now operate from Luttrell loop via east on Danforth Avenue, north on Pharmacy and east on Eglinton to Warden before proceeding north on Warden to loop east on Manhattan and north and west on Rossford, three blocks north of Lawrence Avenue. During rush hours, service is extended north on Warden to Ellesmere and east on Ellesmere to loop in the B/A service station on the southeast corner of Ellesmere and Birchmount. This service re-uses the 67A exposure, even though that referred to the previous short turn at Birchmount and Eglinton.

April 4, 1960

Due to the break up of the pavement at the B/A service station, buses are rerouted to loop via south on Principal, east on Canadian and north on Birchmount. This change was confirmed as permanent on June 7, 1960.

September 1, 1963

Service is extended north on Warden from Ellesmere to Lupin Drive, two blocks north. Buses loop via west on Lupin, south on Budea and east on Sylla. Service on Ellesmere is now provided by an extension of the 95 YORK MILLS route.

Rush hour service is split with alternate buses running via Comstock and Warden both ways, providing new service to this industrial area. There is no change to the rollsigns, as "VIA COMSTOCK" is used on dashboard cards.

Weekday daytime service is extended north on Warden to Huntingwood, looping via west on Huntingwood, south on Bridlewood and east on Bowater.

Coincident with the extension of the BLOOR-DANFORTH SUBWAY to Warden and the launch of the 68 WARDEN bus, service on 67 PHARMACY rerouted to operate out of Victoria Park station via east on Denton and north on Pharmacy to just beyond Ellesmere, looping via east on Penworth, south on Crosland and west on Pancino. Additional rush hour buses short turn just north of Eglinton, looping via west and north on Craigton and east on Rannock. These buses also operate during the late evenings, Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday when the 67 "Ellesmere" branch does not.

Operation of this route is switch to Danforth garage from Birchmount garage.

February 8, 1982

Service begins on a new branch serving Pharmacy Avenue between Sheppard and Steeles. Buses run over the regular route to Pachino and then run north on Pharmacy, west on Terraview, north on Victoria Park, east on Farmcrest (just north of Highway 401), north on Pharmacy to Gordon Baker, looping via west on Gordon Baker, north on Victoria Park and east on Steeles to Pharmacy. Buses return via south on Pharmacy, west on Farmcrest, north and west on Meadowacres, south on Victoria Park, east on Terraview and then south on Pharmacy over the regular route to Victoria Park station. Service operates during the daytime, Mondays through Saturdays. Service over the regular branch to Pacino continues Monday through Saturdays, daytimes and early evenings.

Service on the 67B "Steeles" branch is rerouted off of the residential streets of Terraview, Farmcrest and Meadowacres. Buses now operate via north on Pharmacy, west on Ellesmere, north on Victoria Park, east on Sheppard and north on Pharmacy past Steeles to Esna Park Drive, turning around in a new off-street loop on the west side of Esna Park. Operation through this loop actually started earlier and became official on this date.

Service on the "Ellesmere" loop is revised to operate east on Reddins, north on Crosland and west on Penworth. (Note: pocket timetables printed in 1991 show the Ellesmere loop as Reddins, Crosland and Pachino.)

Late evening and all-day Sunday service is extended north of Eglinton to Ellesmere. The Eglinton branch is reduced to morning rush hours only.

January 3, 1993

Operation of this route is switched to Birchmount garage from Danforth garage.

March 27, 1994

Late evening service is discontinued between Eglinton and Ellesmere. Buses now operate between Victoria Park station and Eglinton during these hours.

February 18, 1996

As part of system-wide service cuts resulting from the elimination of provincial subsidies for public transportation, all evening service north of Eglinton, seven days a week, is eliminated.

Coincident with the opening of the SHEPPARD SUBWAY to Don Mills station, the 67 PHARMACY route is split, with all service on Pharmacy north of Sheppard provided by the new 167 PHARMACY NORTH route. All trips that previously operated from Victoria Park station to Steeles now run to Ellesmere only.

Buses now turn through Bay 3 at Victoria Park station instead of Bay 2, simplifying the turning movement for buses as they enter the bus bays.

June 19, 2006

Service reduced during the summer morning rush hours. Short turn service at Eglinton is eliminated during these times with all buses running through to Ellesmere. This seasonal change continues from mid-June to Labour Day from 2006 to 2010, with the exception of 2009.

September 7, 2008

Route designated as accessible using low floor Orion VII buses on all trips.

November 23, 2008

As part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy, service is extended to Ellesmere at all times the subway is open, seven days a week. Additional rush hour short turn service provided between Victoria Park station and Eglinton. Route operations is also switched from Birchmount garage to Eglinton garage on Comstock Road.

The old bus terminal at Victoria Park station, using separate lanes and platforms for each surface route, is closed. Buses now turn around in a temporary loop located in the old commuter parking lot on the northeast corner of Victoria Park and Denton.

May 24, 2010

The new bus terminal at Victoria Park station opens. Buses run west on Denton and then north and west through the terminal, returning via south on Victoria Park and east on Denton.

June 22, 2014

As part of a system-wide reorganization of route branch designations, the 67A "Eglinton" branch is redesignated 67B, as a first step towards a full reorganizing of the route, changing the 67 main branch to 67A.
