Coincident with the inauguration of the 87 WEST MALL route serving the Eringate area, the section of the 2 ANGLESEY route which operates via Lloyd Manor, Princess Margaret and Martin Grove and across the Richview Side Road (Eglinton Avenue) is changed to loop counterclockwise at a new lop at the northwest corner of Richview Side Road and Martin Grove. Service across the Richview Side Road to Eringate (2A) is discontinued.

The 2E ANGLESEY branch to Rathburn Road and Highway 27 is redesignated 2C. Looping at the service roads at Highway 27, this branch offers a walking transfer connection with the new 87 WEST MALL route one block to the west on Rathburn. Once road conditions permit, this branch will be extended across the West Mall to Forestone Road.

These services will operate approx 18 hours daily, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.

Sunday service on the 2B branch to Humber Loop via Berry Road is discontinued, replaced by the other two branches, and new Sunday service on 13 BERRY ROAD.

June 19, 1994

A new seasonal service added on a 2B branch of the ANGLESEY route, providing two-way service through Centennial Park between Royal York station and the loop at Eglinton and Renforth. Buses operate via Royal York, Anglesey, Islington, Rathburn, Centennial Park Boulevard and Eglinton. Services operates on weekends and holidays only from 6:30 a.m. (8:30 a.m. on Sundays and 7:30 a.m. on holidays) to 9:00 p.m. Service ends at Labour Day and is not repeated next year.

February 18, 1996

As part of system-wide cuts due to significant cutbacks in government subsidies, service south of Rathburn and Mill to Sherway Gardens is discontinued. On the rest of the route, no service is operated after 10 p.m.

This service is later restored on a trial basis, operating at wide, 40 minute headways, but it did not have the ridership to continue. Service on this branch is finally abandoned on July 24, 1998.
