To provide service to the area around Norseman Street south of Bloor between Royal York and Kipling, the TTC established the 121 NORSEMAN route, running from Royal York station on the BLOOR DANFORTH SUBWAY, south on Royal York, west on Norseman to north on Kipling, looping via Advance, Shawbridge and Olivewood to Kipling and return.

Service is initially provided with buses out of Queensway garage operating at 15 minute intervals during rush hours and at 25 during the midday, with no evening or weekend service.
