Burnhamthorpe water project: Road closure,
MiWay detour, starting May 15



Starting Tuesday, April 30, the City of Mississauga is closing:

  • Living Arts Drive, southbound curb lane, between City Centre Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road West

Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day to accommodate Region of Peel contractors who are working on a project to install new water-mains and sewers. (The work is just one component of the larger Burnhamthorpe water project to improve water services in the Mississauga City Centre area.)

MiWay is detouring buses along this route, while the lanes are closed:

  • 6 Credit Woodlands.

This phase of construction on Living Arts Drive and the resulting MiWay detour continue until 4 p.m. May 21.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays from Wednesday, May 15 until Tuesday, May 21, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Living Arts Drive and City Centre Drive, then detour:

westward along City Centre; and then
southward along Confederation Parkway to Burnhamthorpe Road West,
resuming their regular route southward along Confederation.
